613. May I Walk With You Always

Let your hopes be my hopes.

Let your ways be my ways.

Let your path be my path.

May I walk with you always.

Let your Light be my Light.

Let your rays be my rays.

Let your will be my will.

May I walk with you always.

Let your joys be my joys.

Let your days be my days.

Let your heart be my heart.

May I walk with you always.

612. I Meet With God Daily

I meet with God daily,

And He speaks with me;

And I sit and listen,

In His realm of eternity.

In His tongue He teaches,

And my soul, it reaches;

Through the firmament,

His Light beseeches.

He calls me His child,

And we lie reconciled,

From the darks’ distortions,

Which oft’ kept me exiled.

He breathes into me,

His Light, heavenly,

And I rest breathlessly,

In momentary ecstasy.

Yes, daily we meet,

At dawn, noon, and dusk greet;

And I kneel gently,

In veneration at His feet.

For nothing can compare,

To His golden, piercing stare,

Which reignites the soul,

For in its Light, He’s always there.

I meet with God daily,

Far from this worlds harms,

Where hope and love is found,

In His embracing arms.

596. The Temple

I’ve begun to love the stillness,

And the silence of containment,

In the temple I have built,

Adorned in golden raiment.

Where, ceaselessly, I pray for peace,

As gleaming rays consolidate,

The walls of primitive hope,

Against those who infiltrate.

For countless forces are at work,

Seeking chaos and subversion.

Scorning the Light of union,

For darkness and perversion.

While I do bear broad concernment,

Nonetheless, I pray hour by hour.

Vigilant, though reassured,

That discernment wields power.

586. Beyond

I long for my ancestors.

Please help me find my way.

Why must I live apart from you?

Day by day by day?

I long for your wisdom,

To find me,…so far from home.

Please whisper to my heart,

Ancient prophecies etched on tome.

Lead me to the old temples,

Of vision and insight,

To discover the way forward,

On the path most right.

Dance with me in gladness,

And sit with me through the pain.

Grant me resiliency.

Help me to take no day in vain.

I long for my ancestors.

Please hear my sincere prayer.

I feel so lost without you here,

Though, life is not fair.

So, I must do my best,

In the arms of far exile.

Beyond the temple doors,

I take on the universe,…mile by mile.

547. To Deity Absent

tumblr_mqaqfm4gnk1r9spw1o1_r1_500

My rage can not be quelled,

By the pen, or by the sword.

Where only injustice has dwelled,

There can be no accord.

I saw someone murdered.

The murderer got away.

I was tortured, and no one cared,…

And have nothing to say.

People praise criminals,

While victims are forgotten.

Putting them onto pedestals,…

The guilty, and rotten.

So, my rage can not be quelled,

By the sword, or by the pen.

Where only injustice has dwelled,

Justice is a lie *Amen*
