I meet with God daily,
And He speaks with me;
And I sit and listen,
In His realm of eternity.
In His tongue He teaches,
And my soul, it reaches;
Through the firmament,
His Light beseeches.
He calls me His child,
And we lie reconciled,
From the darks’ distortions,
Which oft’ kept me exiled.
He breathes into me,
His Light, heavenly,
And I rest breathlessly,
In momentary ecstasy.
Yes, daily we meet,
At dawn, noon, and dusk greet;
And I kneel gently,
In veneration at His feet.
For nothing can compare,
To His golden, piercing stare,
Which reignites the soul,
For in its Light, He’s always there.
I meet with God daily,
Far from this worlds harms,
Where hope and love is found,
In His embracing arms.
