615. Improvidentdom

A scanning light washed over me,

And once it was over I could see,

A luminous map of the world,

With unexpected planning unfurled…

Upon my hands, which sank through the skin,

And I walked ‘way bitter as sin,

For I did not consent to this breach,

Of body…nor of the states reach.

I heard a voice speak distantly,

Which, suddenly, I could clearly see,

As if a station in my head,

Tuned into a TV show instead.

I could not turn it off or escape,

From the perpetual mind-rape.

I observed the inhumanity,

Of those I could not save indefinitely.

There is no immortality,

That’s worth living here eternally.

Machines are cold and lacking things,

Which can not grant to you hope, nor wings.

You can’t rely on metal and code,

To save your soul or change the mode,

Of transience, and hold souls ransom…

For time and space are not ad infinitum;

They have an end, as all things do.

All things have their time to move on through,

Souls in their day nourish the soil,

For the souls of tomorrow to cultivate and toil…

And grow.

601. New Year, Same Age

A new year has dawned,

O’er the Kingdom of Man,

In this age of great peril,

Where one does what one can,

To ward off evil,

And fortify the walls,

Of Truth, Light, and what is Right,

Against bespoken calls,

For dark to descend,

And snuff out divine Light,

From the spirits of all men,

And consume them in night.

Yet, no matter what,

Night will not ever win,

For Light, Goodness, and the Truth,

Always find a way in…

And radiate.

580. Transcendence

Look to the stars, Earth Children!

Look to the stars!

The moon is beckoning.

The universe is calling.

Do not feel confined ‘tween Venus and Mars.

Wander, live, and take wing!

Out there, in the vast expanse,…

Out,…beyond Earth,

Are adventures untold,…

Endless worlds undiscovered.

For what is life and humanity worth,

When left unaccomplished?

Unpolished by experience,

And tarnished by pride.

Stunted by triviality,

While subdued by technicality;

And our home, on the Earth,

Where we try and hide,

From our future potentiality.

Look to the stars, Earth Children!

Look to the stars!

Heaven’s gates are open.

The only question is when?

When will we expand and explore the stars?

And draw, with universe to pen,

The masterpiece entitled:

“The Transcendence of Men”.

577. A New World Endeavor (Not Order)

Why are those with the least vision,

Always given control of humanities’ fate?

They, who strive to build division,

With a lying smile, and call themselves “Great”?

Have we yet to learn our lesson?

Must we keep on repeating the same old mistakes?

When will we join and take action?

And end this irrational loop?… For God sakes!

It’s time for a better future.

One built on the hopes, loves, and freedoms of all men.

A vision, clear, as to never again obscure,

The human rights inherent to all men.

A world with a vision for tomorrow,

Replete with expansion and new innovation,

Where, without and within, we thrive and grow,…

Not a perfect, but at least, a free, world-nation,

Which forsakes destruction, for creation.
