608. Arisen

Knock me down…I’ll be stronger still.

You can’t stop an idea,

Or the human will,

To stand against tyranny,

And to do what is right.

I stand for the truth,

And rise to the fight.

Push me back…I’ll stand and return.

No, you can not stop me.

It is my concern!

For wherever evil dwells,

I’ll shed new light onto.

You can not stop light,

Even in the darkest night,

It shines right on through.

604. Empowerment

Evil urgently seeks validation:

“Come hither, join,…agree,”

And grasps to near suffocation,…

Human souls, so desperately.

While Good needs no validation at all,

And ‘lone stands resolute.

For human hearts all know the call,

Of the morally absolute.

So stand alone…proud and strong. Do what’s right!

Strength is not in numbers,

Rather it’s in the Brightest Light,

To which darkness writhes and cowers.

For evil depresses,…

Good empowers.

601. New Year, Same Age

A new year has dawned,

O’er the Kingdom of Man,

In this age of great peril,

Where one does what one can,

To ward off evil,

And fortify the walls,

Of Truth, Light, and what is Right,

Against bespoken calls,

For dark to descend,

And snuff out divine Light,

From the spirits of all men,

And consume them in night.

Yet, no matter what,

Night will not ever win,

For Light, Goodness, and the Truth,

Always find a way in…

And radiate.

596. The Temple

I’ve begun to love the stillness,

And the silence of containment,

In the temple I have built,

Adorned in golden raiment.

Where, ceaselessly, I pray for peace,

As gleaming rays consolidate,

The walls of primitive hope,

Against those who infiltrate.

For countless forces are at work,

Seeking chaos and subversion.

Scorning the Light of union,

For darkness and perversion.

While I do bear broad concernment,

Nonetheless, I pray hour by hour.

Vigilant, though reassured,

That discernment wields power.

590. Children of Light, Take Heed!

O’ Children of Light, take heed!

The darkness seeks to consume you,

With smiles of self-satisfaction it breeds,

And plants the seeds,

Of its own destruction.

O’ Children of Light, beware!

Bodies are made of heavy earth,

Which drags all men down and into despair;

So be aware,

You are not of the Earth!

O’ Children of Light, watch out!

You are light destined for the stars.

So, in darkness, do not stumble about.

You should not doubt,

Your divine radiance!

O’ Children of Light, Hear! Hear!

Those who pursue your destruction,

Act from carnal bewilderment and fear.

Lo’, Death’s not here!

Seek the Light! Seek the Light!

O’ Children of Light, stand strong!

When in darkness, shine brighter still.

The war between Light and darkness is long.

Shine strong! Shine strong!

For in time Light will win,…

Yes, in the end,…in the end,…

Light will win!
