Black and white.
Cold and fright.
In the dark….it’s cold.
On the face………….it’s white!
Black and white.
Cold and fright.
In the night,….the dark and light,
Give-in to the fears in flight,
From the memories: ………..black and white.

Thanks. I believe humans as a whole tend to want to organize everything in their environment and thus it’s just easier to think in absolutes (black&white) as it’s more comforting. It’s more comforting to say that, for example, the person who hit their spouse is just a bad person; but the truth is that no person or situation is that easily categorized or defined. I think black and white thinking is something all people should work on and strive to avoid. 🙂

I agree but when you have a Borderline Personality Disorder, which is renowned for the black & white traits, it can make this transition more difficult – but change is possible

Very true. I believe this is definitely harder for some than others and easier said than done.
