108. Golden Memories

On a day many years ago,

In a town of old,

I walked the streets of gray,

To find myself some gold.

Not the gold that feeds the hand,

But a gold inside.

A moment that sparkles a kind,

Memory, for heart to hide.

Just one moment of a tree,

With brightly colored leaves.

In this autumn this old tree,

Kind remembrance ‘chieves.

It only takes a small deep glance,

At a common beauty,

To store away the memories of ,

All which the Earth finds duty.

Don’t forget to take a breath,

And see all there is to see.

For these lovely visions are,

What can make heart’s free.

107. Empty Paradise

Lost and Confused Signpost

Frustrated with my lack of knowing,

And what should I then do?

It’s as if all wisdom is undoing,

An empty paradise ensuing.

Vexed with vexes long o’er due,

Void of gold solutions.

Blank fills the mind anew,

Abandoned thoughts take their cue.

106. Crimson Corridors

Deep inside there is a need,

To the very soul, to feed.

In echoed voices in the head,

A calling that does heed,

A relentless urge to bleed.

Crimson halls and corridors,

Endless rows of clos’ed doors.

All lead to the same end.

Self-defeating little whores,

Bleeding out scarlet abhors.

Beyond each door there lies,

A flaming heart which cries,

For unmerciless repent.

Until the vile river dries,

And the corridors’ light dies.

105. Peace

Peace is here in this moment,

Awaiting dark-nights’ reprieve.

Caring not of the world of tomorrow,

For peace is here to receive.

Fade not away, please stay.

This moment please stay forever!

104. The Present Light

36-winter-sunrise-wallpaper

Clouds drifting. Sun shifting.

Light shines down, all around.

What a thrill in this chill,

To see morn, Earth adorn,

With new life, ‘mid old strife.

Smile and cheer.  New days here.

Forget past.  Future’s fast!

Beauty ’round.  Nature abound.

See it well, for I tell:

“Days as this aren’t to miss!”

Many will grow more nil.

With times’ pass, lose their mass.

As it knows, time fast goes!

Breathe it in, days’ begin.

For this day will pass away,

And cannot forever stay.
