579. Sleep Now, Propagandized Ones

Sleep now, propagandized ones.

Sleep sound in ignorance.

Tell yourself it’s all a dream,

And wake to happenstance.

Sleep now, propagandized ones.

No, you need not think tonight,

And tomorrow’s another day,

To never set things right.

Sleep now, propagandized ones,

For life is but a game,

And you a pawn upon a board,

Without clear thought or aim.

Sleep now, propagandized ones,

They said you’d be happy,

For all the suffering you helped,

Implement,…carelessly.

Sleep now, propagandized ones

Don’t forget: Close those eyes!

You wouldn’t want to see something,

Exposing all the lies.

Sleep now, propagandized ones,

And dream of being free,

For you sold out all of us here,…

And your humanity;

And instead of finding peace,

You only found more fear.

524. Mirageneers

People say so much, and yet,

Have so little to say;

And when you try to speak on truth,

They then huff, and walk away.

Why should I trust anyone?

And why make any sound?

When my voice leaves on the wind,

Will they care if it is found?

My voice bled into the air.

Got lost: Grew starved and cold;

Which never would have happened,

If they’d have let the truth be told.

So, there’s no use in talking.

Who’s listening anyway?

No one cares if you don’t speak;

They just don’t want you to say,….

Anything to sabotage,

Or divert them away,…

From their mirage.

392. Identity

Who am I in this moment?

Well that depends on who you ask.

I am many different people,

Each with their own personal task.

How does one get anything done,

With so many different plans;

And so little time to work at them,

Before they will change hands?

Then off toward another goal,

Weaving through the field of mind,

Where players with their set positions,

Have their own goals in kind.

Tell me who I really am.

I bet you think you know!

Yet if you knew me at all,

You’d see I both come and go.

The game of life moves me,

Up and down the field.

In confusion getting nowhere,

Stuck eternally mid-field.

I see the goal right there,

And sometimes get quite near,

Only to find myself mid-field,

With another goal I fear.

Who am I in this moment?

I’m afraid that you will find.

I’m not the “one” you thought I was,

Rather “many”, in one mind.

329. Asphalt

[CooL GuY] {{a2zRG}}

I can’t think,…my brain is failing me.

What do you think? Am I at fault?

My body fails me,….I can’t move it right.

What would you think of me if I just lie on this asphalt?

It’s said control is illusory,

Yet losing control is insanity;

So what would you think if I lie here?

What would you think if I don’t disagree?

If I lie here and let it all go…

If I just stay here, and give up control?

Would it be crazy to stop fighting it?

Would it be crazy to accept no control?

I can’t think,…am I at fault?

Should I keep trying to control illusion,

Or should I just lie here,… on the asphalt?

316. Curl Up in the Corner, Dear

maxresdefault2

Curl up in the corner, dear,

And cover your ears in vain.

You cannot hide from the pain.

This world is made of fear.

Curl up in the corner, dear,

And hide from searching hands.

Blind your eyes behind hair-strands,

And pray to disappear.

Curl up in the corner, dear,

And close those teary eyes.

Most things seen and said are lies,

To lead the naive near.

Curl up in the corner, dear,

For hands were made to punish;

And skin and bones to ravish,

In treachery severe.

Curl up in the corner, dear,

For certainty’s a lie.

They will not care if you die,

Or if you persevere.

Curl up in the corner, dear,

And cover your ears in vain;

For a world, it is insane,

Where sanity breeds fear.
