My Soul is a Lock Without a Key

Alone I Am and Alone I Shall Be

Tag: cannot leave

63. I Stand

I sink. I sink.

I cannot leave. I cannot stay.

I know. Okay. Okay. Okay!

But how much longer will it now be,

‘Til heaven’s gleaming shore I see?

‘Til angels greet me and take my hand.

Saving me from this sinking sand.

I stand. I stand.
